This course will provide you with a fully comprehensive education to carry out LASER and IPL treatments. It is an advanced course specialising in reducing hair growth and photo rejuvenation of the skin using intense light and laser treatments.

Underpinning knowledge will be delivered along with demonstrations for the duration of the first 2 days. The following days will be for clinical practice in order for you to complete your ranges and practical assessments.

Skin conditions included to treat are vascular lesions; telangiectasia, spider naevi, campbell de morgans, pigmentation, fine lines & texture, photo aged skin.

If you don't hold any qualifications, you can take the L3 Access to Aesthetics first.

You will also need to take the Core Of Knowledge qualification prior to this to gain more knowledge and understanding. This is completed online at a cost of approx £50 - contact the centre for details.

How training here works

1 Book your place. You pay the deposit by card and the place is yours from that moment. The course details and materials are emailed to you, and the balance is due on your training day.
2 Train in a small group. Theory, a demonstration, then the treatment on each other - and on a model for assessment.
3 Practise, then get assessed. Some of the short day courses are assessed on the day; others need you to come back to the centre for the assessment. Practising at home on friends and family is a must. Assessment dates are usually agreed and booked during the training, at a time to suit you.
