Three of us teach here, with decades between us in salons, spas, colleges and treatment rooms. All of it still current, because we all still do the work.
Proprietor and lecturer
Lisa took over The Cottage in 2013. She trained in beauty straight from school, then worked in and ran salons and spas before moving into teaching in 2000 - and kept her own industry skills going the whole time.
A qualified lecturer and beauty therapist with more than thirty years in beauty and holistics, she still adds new skills and treatments as the industry moves, which is how they end up on the timetable here.
Lecturer
Nicki is a fully qualified lecturer with over fifteen years in the beauty and make-up industry, including several further education colleges.
She specialises in advanced massage techniques, and she teaches hands-on, tailoring a course to the person in front of her.
She also works as an examiner and principal moderator for an awarding body, so she knows exactly what an assessor is looking for.

Kerry is a fully qualified lecturer and assessor, with a varied career spanning more than fifteen years in beauty and holistic therapy behind her.
She ran her own beauty and holistic therapies business for years, so she teaches the trade as well as the treatment - and adjusts how she teaches to suit how you learn.
42 courses, from your first qualification up to level 4 aesthetics, taught in small groups. Six learners at most.
