This course will provide you with a fully comprehensive education to carry out LASER and IPL treatments. It is an advanced course specialising in reducing hair growth and photo rejuvenation of the skin using intense light and laser treatments. In this qualification, you will develop an understanding of managing safe working practice and how to identify and control hazards. You will also learn how to identify hair and skin conditions and those clients suitable for intense light and laser system treatments. Training is held in small groups. Practical assessment will be carried out at the centre and theory completed at home.
Underpinning knowledge will be delivered along with demonstrations for the duration of the first 2 days. the following days will be for clinical practice in order for you to complete your ranges and practical assessments.
Skin conditions included to treat are vascular lesions ; telangiectasia, spider naevi, campbell de morgans, pigmentation, fine lines & texture, photo aged skin.

Pre requisite
You need to hold a level 3 qualification in beauty therapy or a nursing qualification in order to do this course.
If you do not have either please contact us to discuss the route to take in order to get these qualifications.
You will also need to take the Core Of Knowledge qualification prior to this to gain more knowledge and understanding. this is completed online at a cost of approx £150.00 contact the centre for details.
