Lisa

Lisa is the proprietor of the Cottage training centre which she took over in 2013. Having trained in beauty straight from school she worked and ran various salons and spas before venturing into the teaching world in 2000 whist continuing with industry skills.

So being a qualified lecturer and beauty therapist who has been training and working in the beauty and holistic industry for over 30 years gives her a wealth of experience and knowledge. She is passionate about the industry and continues you learn new skills and treatments to keep up to date with popular trends which in turn can be offered to the student.

Nicki

Nicki is a fully qualified lecturer with over 15 years experience in the beauty and make-up industry. She has worked in a number of further education colleges and now runs our Winchester venue. Nicki has a practical hands on approach to teaching and tailors courses to meet each students’ individual needs. Nicki specialises in make up which enables us to offer a wide & diverse range of make up courses.

In addition, she works as an examiner and principal moderator for a qualification awarding body which provides her with the capability to impart the relevant knowledge and insight to her students.

Kerry

Kerry is a fully qualified lecturer and assessor and brings a vast level of knowledge and experience gained from a varied career spanning over 15 years in the beauty and holistic therapy industry. Kerry has a positive and supportive approach to her lecturing and is able to adjust her teaching style to suit a broad range of learning styles.

Having run her own successful beauty and holistic therapies business for many years Kerry understands the opportunities and challenges of the industry and is able to help pass on this knowledge to her students.

Alex Barnes, Homeopath and Wellbeing Coach
Alex is a qualified Homeopath and registered member of the Society of Homeopaths.

Homeopathy is a natural energy-based medicine that works on a physical, mental and emotional level. During a consultation, Alex will ask lots of questions in order to build up a picture of what is going on for you, as a whole. This detail helps her to uncover the underlying cause of your illness and find the closest remedy match for you. The remedies are derived from the energy of plants, minerals and animals. They work by stimulating the body’s healing ability.

Alex is also a qualified Life and Health Coach. She offers 1:1 bespoke coaching as well as group coaching programmes. Coaching will give you the tools to close the gap between where you are now and where you would like to be. Throughout the process, you will also recognise and challenge patterns of behaviour or beliefs that may be holding you back. You’ll also develop healthy habits that stick!
