Course Information:

Resulting qualification: VTCT L4 Award in Laser & IPL for Hair Removal

This course will provide you with a qualification to carry out LASER and IPL treatments for hair removal. It is an advanced course specialising in reducing hair growth using intense light and laser treatments. In this qualification, you will develop an understanding of managing safe working practice and how to identify and control hazards. You will also learn how to identify hair and skin conditions and those clients suitable for intense light and laser system treatments. Training is held in very small groups. Practical assessment will be carried out at the centre and theory completed at home.

Underpinning knowledge will be delivered along with demonstrations and clinical practice. Assessments will be carried out in order for you to complete your ranges and practical assessments required for the qualification.

Pre requisite

There is no pre requisite for this qualification but it is advised to check this with your insurance company. A beauty therapy or a nursing qualification is of benefit.

You will need to take the Core Of Knowledge qualification prior to this to gain knowledge and understanding of laser & IPL. this is completed online at a cost of approx £150.00 contact the centre for details.
