The Foundation Make-up Course

Course fee: £280 (deposit £100) inc. Cottage Assessment fee. This course is tailored for beginners and for anyone who would like to update their make-up skills. The course is taught over two days at the centre. You will then be required to complete case studies at home and return to complete an assessment when you feel ready. The course will cover some of the essential skills to introduce you to the world of make-up and to start your journey as a make-up artist. You will learn the most up to date techniques in order to apply make-up for various occasions.

Bridal & Air-brush Make-up

Course fee: £180 (deposit £100) This course covers theory and practical techniques to apply when carrying out bridal and special occasion make-up. In addition, the course covers the advanced skill in airbrush make-up, popular for brides on their big day. You will need to have attended our 2-day Foundation make-up course or equivalent prior to the course or have some previous make up training.

Ayurvedic Non-Surgical Facelift Massage

Full day (10am-4pm) Course fee: £160 (deposit £100) This beautiful Facial Massage can be integrated into Indian Head Massage, Facials, Anti-Ageing Therapies or as a stand-alone Therapy will learn the full sequence of traditional Ayurvedic face lift massage. Manicure, Pedicure & Gel Polish

You will learn the full routines to include filing, cuticle work, massage, mask treatments and the all-important painting for the nails with colour and french polish. Gel polish Extremely popular treatment that lasts for 2-3 weeks with no waiting for drying time. Nails are protected so they grow to desired length quickly.

**This course is for the nail professional looking to expand their service menu by offering Builder Gel to natural nails. Extremely popular treatment taking the industry by storm. This course will cover the correct application method on natural nails. **It also includes application over short tips & tip application.

You can also add in sculpturing the builder gel using forms to create a nail extension. This is another full day, so making this a 2 day course. Course fee for the 2 days £400 Date for sculpture is 19th February 2024 10am-4pm If you are already qualified in builder gel you can just do the sculpture day.

Electrolysis

Your clients will require several treatments for a successful outcome & is still a sought-after treatment. Your trainer has had many years’ experiences in epilation, where much of her training has been done with STEREX, the leaders in electrolysis. It is important to ask both your insurance provider and your local council for legal requirements before enrolling on this course. This course requires commitment and clients will be required. Please call the Cottage Training Centre to discuss further and tailor this course to suit you.
